No. 2 seed Cincinnati experienced no difficulty holding ncaa final four off No. 7 Tulsa, 80-61, in a quarterfinal matchup in the AAC competition on Friday. What's more, top seed SMU figured out how to fight off a late rally from ECU ncaa tournament to progress to the semis, conceivably setting up a title diversion matchup between the alliance's top groups which will be played on Sunday.

Outside of the significant gathering powers, the developing American Athletic
March Madness Bracket Conference is unobtrusively delivering perpetual heavyweight groups to dispatch into the NCAA competition year in and year out. Under Mick Cronin, Cincinnati has been to six straight NCAA competition appearances, and SMU has apparently stepped forward this season under first year mentor Tim Jankovich.

Both groups figure to make some clamor this postseason - and that begins on Thursday when the AAC meeting commences in Hartford.
